i'm so glad that yesterday's attempt didn't prove too discouraging after all. here's one of today's creations:

here is a collage i did today. the process of getting to this finished product was completely enthralling; the possibilities with decoupage are really endless. i was totally stoked with how it turned out...until i got a bit overzealous with the pasting part and some of my pieces went bubbly. argh! definitely some room for improvement.

anyway, what do you all think? feedback please!!

a first attempt.

thought i would stop gushing over/talking about mixed media and collage...and do something of my own. here i used images from an old book cover i found called death stories (eep?!), tissue paper, coloured paper, brown paper bags, washi tape and a couple of ryan mcginley shots he did years ago for aritzia.

what do y'all reckon?
