had dinner at el taco loco on saturday night to meet up with our newly engaged friends (and for me to check out Sibella's latest handy-work). my camera is not the best at night and i refuse to use a flash...so here's the best i could capture with it.
p.s. the tacos were delicioso! and the pink grapefuit, ginger frozen margaritas-que rico!

in the mix.

last sunday i had one of those days where you can't help but smile as you're walking around town; floating on air. i don't know why...i was just in love with the world and feeling really positive on that day. i went into the local secondhand bookshop and scoured the shelves for ever. i came home with the most eclectic mix of reading goodies:

a first attempt.

thought i would stop gushing over/talking about mixed media and collage...and do something of my own. here i used images from an old book cover i found called death stories (eep?!), tissue paper, coloured paper, brown paper bags, washi tape and a couple of ryan mcginley shots he did years ago for aritzia.
