happy hump day.

good morning all- i'm off to work. i didn't get a chance to take a refreshing dip this morning, but this is what the scene usually looks like down at my swimming hole (bondi, on a good day..which is most days). i hope you're all having a lovely week!

i thought everyone looked beautiful last night! highlights for me included Lupita Nyong'o winning for 12 Years a Slave (though i have yet to see this film); i got a little teary. i loved Cate Blanchett's eloquent speech delivered with such grace. and Ellen was a fun and fabulous host.

my stand-out favourite dress of the night was Lupita Nyong'o in prada.  everyone else came a close second. here are my favourites from this year:

there's nothing like 'working' in the living room in front of the t.v. this afternoon (in Australia) while watching the oscars. i'm loving these up close images of the process. can you tell what i'm making??

while trawling pinterest yesterday, i came across a match made in heaven - erin wasson (remember when i MET HER??!) & free people. be still my bohemian heart. i love the little desert road trippin' story as travel is always on my mind and the little vegas nuptials - with her in a little white dress and the groom in a canadian tuxedo (double denim) - because i've been daydreaming about weddings lately too.
