my momma knows what's up! she has just introduced me to Fresco Towels online. W O W. not only are the selections insanely gorgeous, I love the brand ethos as well- all inspired by travel and history. I am 100% coveting a poncho now and that eagle beach towel.

after it takes three hours to figure out how to make your first GIF, the next ones are a breeze. here is my love swimming in the deep blue sea too; indian summer lovin'.

autumn has got to be the best time of year in Sydney. the water is still so warm; i've been starting most mornings off with a swim in the sunshine of my backyard (bondi beach). yesterday i stood up on a surfboard (not for the first time, but it has been years…) and today i learned how to dolphin dive in the waves. hey, beautiful day!

good morning all- i'm off to work. i didn't get a chance to take a refreshing dip this morning, but this is what the scene usually looks like down at my swimming hole (bondi, on a good day..which is most days). i hope you're all having a lovely week!

my new favourite captain and the gyspy kid have tugged at my heart strings again. the beautiful little family have all dressed up and played mermaids at the beach. how sweet is this?

there are always a bunch of leftover images from a day's shoot that are still really fun, but just don't make the final cut. i thought i'd share with you some of the outtakes from the most recent daisy crown; the sunshine and crisp blues of the ocean meeting the sky, made this a favourite from the series.

you can't look past the daisy when thinking of summer floral crowns…and neither could i! to re-invent this sunny day staple, instead of a simple crown, i made it into a hat (well, that's what i'm calling it). i used the most picture perfect, crisp, tall, white daisies you have ever seen from garlands in sydney. my bangs were getting quite long around this time, so i parted them down the middle (which i never ever do) for a very 60's flower child do. the dress and sunnies give it a bit of a 90's spin for a fun little drew barrymore inspired moment, maybe? needless to say, i am very happy with how this headpiece turned out for the floral crown series and i love the blue skies that went with it. do you have a favourite yet?

it's that time again...

i've been doing a little spring cleaning on my desktop and have come across some photos i took a few years ago down the south coast of new south wales, australia; they remind me of quiet getaways and air that is still a little crisp.

let's all go to the movies!

a film that is very close to my heart, that i had the pleasure of doing the styling on- STORM SURFERS 3D- is coming to my home and native land this summer!!!  it has also been released in theatres around the states- so go see it if you get the chance.  it is a film for young and old- everyone that sees it connects with it; go see it for the storytelling or for the breathtaking scenery alone. thank you for your support!

the white swimsuit issue.

as you may know, i visit my pinterest account regularly for inspiration; be it interior styling, photography, fashion. i noticed recently that i had pinned a lot of images of classic movie stars on the beach in white bathing suits and then realised that i had many similar images of myself in my favourite white one-piece from a trip to idyllic fiji last year. it's amazing how similar some of the shots are without having even tried to copy them. looking back on these images has me eager to return to that paradise soon- it was something else!

let the good times roll...

while the Storm Surfers were screening their film to a thousand plus Americans for the first time at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival last night, on home soil their brilliant movie won best feature documentary at the AACTAs (aussie oscars!!!). happy and proud are words too simple to describe how i'm feeling right now. i'm so pleased for everyone involved i could burst!!!
