i am loving all of this antique indian jewellery from the rajasthani princess post over at spell and the gypsy collective. some of the beautiful tarnished silver pieces totally remind me of my ten commandments and current favourite necklace my momma gave me this summer (it looks like a strand of little dangling coins or cookies). these images also reminded me of the time i went on a university excursion last year for my 'Art and Spirit' class and visited a hindu temple. all of the deities were adorned with such stunning silver bangles and neck pieces...i had to stop myself from asking whether or not there was an on-site gift shop where i could get my own!
