a thousand paper cranes. (actually).

okay, so here's what's happening. yesterday i started making paper cranes in the hopes i would ease my heartbreak a little over what's going on by 'meditating' on how i felt about it...or something equally as passive as that. quickly i realized that my practice wasn't actually helping the situation or anyone in japan one little bit, so i made a plan. i am now making one thousand paper cranes and selling them at the bondi markets this sunday. every dollar we make on the day is going straight to the Japanese Red Cross Society. we have many generous friends onboard who have already contributed towards the cost of having a stall at the markets and the beautiful (albeit expensive) origami paper. i have made 150 so far after deciding to do this yesterday and a lovely friend has already made 20. that's 170 with 4 days left! hopefully some wonderful friends will be coming by tonight for a fold-fest and our goal of 1000 will be met by sunday. please come down to the markets if you're in Sydney and/or in the area. and please give generously for a very good cause to a grave situation.
