eep!

i had an impromptu phone interview yesterday (not sure how well it went...i'm so sick at the moment and subsequently have a brain made of mush) in which they asked me to describe my favourite room in my house.  i said it was my sunroom (i don't really have a favourite room per se) and waxed on...and on...and on, about why. i do however have a favourite vignette du jour and it does happen to be in my sunroom. have a little looksie:

the origami flowers were given to me by a group of school children at kyoto train station. delicate and so sweet.
